How it works
Cherish the vibrant colours and delicate details of your flowers for years to come. Discover how I transform your precious blossoms into stunning, everlasting pieces you can treasure.
1. Choose Your Treasure:
Think about your desired item: Whether it's a framed piece, a flower tray, or something entirely unique, Iām here to help.
Consider your flowers: If you have specific blooms in mind, let me know. Some flowers, like certain lilies and orchids, may require different preservation methods.
Get in touch: Feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss your ideas.
2. Secure Your Slot:
Make a deposit: To reserve your spot and ensure availability, especially for last-minute requests, a deposit is required.
3. Send Your Flowers:
Follow our guidelines: Read the sending your flowers page for instructions on how to package and ship your blooms safely.
4. The Drying Process:
Silica preservation: Your flowers will be carefully dried using silica crystals for approximately two weeks.
Design consultation: I'll share photos and work with you to finalise the design, including any flower reconstruction, recolouring, item selection, background colours, and more.
5. Molding and Shaping:
Placement and arrangement: Your flowers will be transferred to a mold to create the desired shape and layout.
Photo updates: We'll provide additional photos to ensure you're happy with the arrangement.
6. Resin Casting:
Layer-by-layer: Resin is poured in multiple layers to create a durable and visually stunning piece.
Progress photos: I'll keep you updated with photos of the resin casting process.
7. Finishing Touches:
Demolding: Once the resin has cured, the piece will be carefully removed from the mold.
Finishing details: I'll add any necessary finishing touches, such as sanding, applying protective coats, or adding frames, bands, or legs.
8. Your Finished Piece:
Delivery or collection: We'll discuss your preferred method for receiving your completed piece.
Enjoy your keepsake: Your beautifully preserved flowers are ready to be admired and cherished for years to come.
